Christiane Reyle

Christiane Reyle was born in Neuenstadt (DE) in 1950 and studied at the FKS in Stuttgart until 1981. Today she lives and works in Heilbronn and on Lake Tegernsee in Hungary. She has been involved in artists’ groups and various projects for many years, which has also brought her into regular contact with the Solothurn art scene through the city partnership. She received a teaching assignment in Marrakech in 1996 and subsequently spent inspiring years in Morocco. Siegfried Simpfendörfer writes in a catalog of her works: “Christiane Reyle is a painter who simply looks – and then translates the sensations of the eye, the always strange diversity of what she experiences, into pictorial processes.”
