Daniel Gaemperle
Daniel Gaemperle completed his apprenticeship as a structural draughtsman in 1974. This was followed by study visits to Spain, Japan, Taiwan, Portugal and the Netherlands. Since 1978, he has worked as a freelance artist in the fields of applied art, building/environmental design, concept art/minimal art, painting and drawing. Daniel Gaemperle has won numerous competitions, enabling him to realize works such as the redesign of the chancel of Lausanne Cathedral and the glass roof of the ETH Zurich IT Centre. He has also been awarded several first prizes from the Kunstkredit beider Basel. Unfortunately, not all projects were realized. Daniel Gaemperle also founded his own art publishing house “Hirschkuh”. He has also taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad.
