Martin Stingelin
Martin Stingelin was born in Bern in 1959. As an autodidact, he has been intensively exploring the various facets of analog and digital photography for many years. An important component of his work is infrared light, as it helps him to blur the boundaries between photography and painting and thus depict unnoticed aspects of our environment “in a different light”. It is important to him that a photograph always appeals to the viewer anew – even if they have no connection to the motif depicted.
