Heinz / Flavia Müller-Majocchi

Heinz Müller-Majocchi was born in Langendorf in 1936 and later trained as a drawing teacher. He continued his education during numerous working stays in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, returning to Langendorf in 1972. Heinz Müller-Majocchi died in 1994. “Life is a dream, but we live it like a reality” – this quote from Heinz Müller-Majocchi characterizes his spatial visions and floating forms, which he conjured up on aluminium panels using sophisticated spraying techniques. Atmospherically transparent and expansive worlds of form were created. Murals in the Olten cantonal school, the Derendingen upper school center, the Solothurn commercial vocational school and many other places still bear witness to his work today, which could never be pigeonholed.
